Guangzhou Municipal Real Estate Registration "Zero Errands" Operation Upgraded "Online Application" for Real Estate Mortgage Registration (On Trial)

　　In the past, when applying for real estate mortgage loan or repayment, the citizens had to “shuttle” between the bank and the real estate registration office: to inquire and print various certified documents in the real estate registration office; to submit application, sign mortgage contract at the bank; then to register for real estate mortgage at the registration window; and... However, the procedures are not so troublesome nowadays!

　　In order to further deepen the work of simplifying real estate registration to facilitate the people, the "Zero Errands" operation launched by the Guangzhou Municipal Real Estate Registration has been upgraded! The Land Resources & Urban Planning Commission of Guangzhou Municipality has initially established an online application platform for "real estate registration + financial services", and jointly launched a pilot online application for and handling of the real estate mortgage deregistration and set registration with pilot banks (including ICBC Guangzhou Branch, etc.). Various measures including information sharing, electronic data verification, and face recognition, are taken to realize "Online Approval”, and achieve the "online handling" of real estate mortgage-related registration from official acceptance to registration, to achieve "zero errands" of enterprises or citizens applying for mortgage business.

　　The launch of online application for and handling of the real estate mortgage deregistration and set registration has enabled the parallel review of real estate registration matters and financial services, eliminating the need for mortgagors to shuttle between banks and registration agencies, or to repeatedly submit application materials. This has significantly reduced the operating costs of enterprises and the masses, bringing real convenience to related enterprises and mortgagees, and favorable for banks to effectively guard against financial risks. This is another important move for the Land, Resources & Urban Planning Commission of Guangzhou Municipality to implement Guangzhou's "Opinions on Comprehensively Improving the Convenience of Real Estate Registration", to deploy and implement the "Cocoon-Breaking" Operation for real estate registration, and to create a new model of real estate registration for Guangzhou.
